Morning folks! I'm a bad blogger (or rather, there are bad internets out at sea), so today you're actually getting three posts: the Hottie of the Day, this post, and the one that was supposed to go up yesterday: the ATRS guest blog with Ursula Grey.
So, for post #2 of the day, let me introduce you to the lovely author Gracen Miller. We're doing a blog swap today; her characters are popping in to Fantasy Unbound to share an interview and very X-Rated excerpt from their world, and Ayden and Freyrik from Counterpoint are popping in to her blog, Moonlight, Lace, and Mayhem, to share an interview and excerpt with her readers. Cupid is moderating both interviews, so you know things are bound to get interesting. Be sure to check them out.
Now I'll turn the floor over to Cupid and Gracen Miller, who's so graciously offered to give one lucky commenter
I'm Cupid…Eros…god of eroticism – any of them work. However, I do so adore the way "god of eroticism" rolls off the tongue, *smirking sexily* don't you?
Today I'm going to spice things up in honor of my holiday…Valentine's Day and take you to where the sparks really are—the characters! Watch out for flying arrows, hunky men, beautiful women, hot beverages and steamy conversation! Oh, did I forget to mention mud wrestling and body shots? Or was that in my fantasies? *cheeky grin*
My guests today are, Landau and Julija – please, have a seat on our lovely couch! – from the city of Veil. Their tale can be found in ELFIN BLOOD a novel creation by Gracen Miller.
*Cupid settles comfortably onto the sofa, draping his arm over the back and sips his bubbly as his guests get comfortable.*
You two make one fine pair! I did a wonderful job pairing you two up if I do say so myself! Then, I just love all of my matches!
Cupid: Please, Landau, tell our readers how you two first met. Was it by your design, or hers?
Landau: It was sort of by hers. Julija was stalking me for her handler.
Julija: *nudges Landau* He was my Ivory Elfin King, not my handler.
Landau: Trust me, I know stalking when I see stalking.
Julija: I had a job to do and I was doing it.
Cupid: Clearly you two disagree.
Landau: She wasn't adept at stalking and I knew immediately she was up to no good. Luckily, I was intrigued by her audacity and instead of killing her, I arranged to meet her.
Cupid: Julija, would you say it was love at first sight or did you find him repulsive?
Julija: I didn't find him repulsive, but it wasn't love at first sight.
Landau: She was a wildcat and all over me, Cupid. *winks*
Cupid: *executes a kitty growl* We all love a wildcat.
Julija: *rolls here eyes* I remember you accosting me first.
Cupid: This one’s for both of you. Since chaotic happenstance tends to put characters like yourselves in situations where they must work together or live together for one reason or another, tell us what chaotic happenstance “forced” the two of you to work or live together. How did you feel about this?
Julija: We were never forced to work together.
Landau: No. Jewel was—
Landau: My petname for her. It fits, don't you think? Look how beautiful she is. *kisses her palm*
Cupid: Indeed, it does. She sparkles with beauty. Ahem. Now, back to my question…
Landau: Right. Jewel's Elfin King planned to rob me of my heritage and she was going to be his blunt instrument.
Julija: Alberic didn't count on our instant attraction.
Landau: Lucky me, he picked her as his thief.
Cupid: I presume the elfin King's plan backfired?
Landau: Of course, would you expect differently from someone of my vampiric caliber?
Cupid: *ignoring the question* This one is also for both of you. How long did it take you to know your true feelings for the other? At what point did you know, “this is the one”?
Landau: I want to answer that question first.
Landau: I knew the moment I touched her in the nightclub, Raven's, she was the one. You see, since becoming a vampire I was sexually dead. One taste of her lips and everything changed.
Julija: *smiles* Everything would have gone smoother if I could've said the same. I realized that evening my plan was unraveling, but not until Landau trapped me in a bed of gemstones did I accept my feelings for him.
Cupid: Interesting you should mention that, Julija. I understand you have an infinity with gemstones?
Julija: Yes, but that's another story, one too illicit to share here.
Cupid: Landau, what would you say was your biggest obstacle to overcome before you could settle into a relationship with Julija?
Landau: Alberic, her Ivory Elfin King and my oldest enemy.
Cupid: This is for either of you. Would you like to thank anyone – other than me, of course – for getting you two together?
Julija: Doreen was instrumental
Landau: *begrudgingly* Alberic. If he hadn't forced her to do his bidding, I would have never met my Jewel.
Cupid: I know our readers have enjoyed learning about you two so far, but I’m getting a little bored, so I’m going to heat things up. Landau, would you prefer to give Julija a bubble bath or a back massage? Why?
Landau: Why must I pick one or the other?
Cupid: *nonplussed* Because that was the question.
Landau: A vampire King doesn't have to make choices like that, so I choose both.
Cupid: *mega sigh* How many of you remember that old show, The Newlywed Game? Well, these next questions are going to help us play a similar game. Landau, what would Julija say is your aphrodisiac? *waggles eyebrows*
Landau: Besides her? Blood. I am a vampire.
Cupid: Julija, is he right? How would you have answered that question?
Julija: I would've said blood.
Landau: Cupid, Julija's blood is the most potent aphrodisiac. I have a couple of favorite spots I enjoy dining on. Here *demonstrates by kissing the pulse on her throat* and here *palms the artery on the inside of her thigh* are my favorite spots.
*Julija's breath catches as she stares into his eyes*
Cupid: *fans self * Is the air conditioner turned off? Thanks to Landau and Julija for joining us today. We hope you’ll check out their story, ELFIN BLOOD.

ELFIN BLOOD BLURB:
Scorned by her own kind for her half-breed elf status, Julija lives a lonely existence among her Ivory Elf kin. She is the only one the elves can trust when a magical book in elf lore is stolen. Relegated to steal the Book from the vampire thief, Landau Jamieson, she's surprised to discover he has the ability to walk in daylight. Refusing to be deterred by developing setbacks, she’s committed to executing the heist for an Ivory King who grows more desperate to possess the Book. Nothing about the vampire is as it appears and Julija begins to doubt her mission. Worse, she begins to worry she won't have the strength to guard her heart from her sworn enemy.
Landau is fascinated by the elf stalking him and baffled by the potent hunger she elicits after ten thousand years of celibacy. Soon he discovers the lovely sprite is a pawn in a dangerous game--orchestrated by none other than a reviled enemy from his past. While blind-sided by her beauty and her magical powers, the least of which is the spell she casts on his heart, the sinister plot unfolds. What started out as folly to catch a thief, blossoms into a love that casts aside bloodlines and forges all boundaries.
ELFIN BLOOD EXCERPT: (X-rated)
Their eyes held as he tossed her denims over his shoulders. He buried his hand in her hair, kneading her scalp with his fingers.
“This.” His palm flattened over her bare pussy and she flinched at the jolt of heat shooting through her. “Is beautiful.”
He tugged against her hair, holding her steady as he leaned over her and put his mouth to her breasts through the thin fabric. The scrape of his teeth against the cloth caused her to whimper and arch beneath him.
“Can you tone it down a bit,” he asked, grazing his fangs along the underside of her breast.
“Tone what down?”
“The music.” He rose to his knees, his features pinched.
“I’m not making that music.” Julija was too busy trying to catch her breath to worry about the melody. The pads of his fingers rolled her nipples through the fabric while the palm of his other hand rubbed the outer folds of her sex. She squirmed, itching to press her thighs together to alleviate her escalating arousal.
“Of course you are. You’re a Jewel Master. They’re singing your lust.”
Julija touched him for the first time, tracing his wide, sexy lips with her finger—lips she’d fantasized about.
“I’m not a Jewel Master,” she said, baffled by his statement. She traced the point of a protruding fang. “Ow!” she cried, jerking her finger back to peer at the blood beading the pad of her index finger.
Quick as a snake striking, he reached out and placed her finger against the center of his lips. Mired between fascination and horror, she watched as he used her blood to paint his mouth red. Landau licked his lips. The pleasure flaring across his face nearly brought her to orgasm. Again, he painted his lips with her blood, his eyes rolling with delight when he swiped the moisture away.
Landau dragged his tongue over her finger, cleansing the blood from her flesh. He squeezed and blood beaded to the surface. Again, he licked the digit like it was his personal lollipop. She gyrated beneath him, undulated her hips into his thigh. Had she missed the anatomy lesson that said fingers were erogenous zones?
He sucked her finger into his mouth, his gaze holding hers steady as he sipped nourishment from the tiny wound. A moan tore from her. He suckled again, a hard drag that tweaked her clitoris.
“Mmm.” She moaned, arching her back, needing him inside her.
A grin skirted his lips as her vampire suckled. She cried out as an orgasm jerked through her, surprising and embarrassing her.
Landau chuckled. “You’re easy, Jewel Master.”
Easy, yes. Sex-starved too.
“I don’t know what that is.” Her ragged breath hitched as she tried to orient herself and follow the conversation.
“How can you not?” His brows met his hairline, showing his surprise. “Jewel Masters are rare, but still . . . .” He eyed her speculatively. “You’re joking, right?”
Julija didn’t think she could muster a verbal response so she shook her head.
“I’ll show you,” he said, his gaze determined. He looked at the jewels surrounding them on the bed, his fingers skimming through them until he located a diamond at least ten carats in size. He pressed the flat side against a nipple. “Can you feel it vibrating?”
“Yes.” She strangled on the word. The vibration against her nipple was connected to her vagina.
“Only a Jewel Master can make it do that.” Landau trailed the diamond to the other breast and smiled at her moan of pleasure. “I’m not a Jewel Master,” he said. “Wood Elves create Jewel Masters.” He clarified the last sentence with, “I don’t have Wood Elf in me. You do.”
Mischief darkened his gaze as he dragged the vibrating diamond down her belly, circled her navel and then slid it downward to the flesh at the apex of her thighs.
As if entranced, Landau spread her vaginal lips and pressed the gem against her clitoris. The diamond acted like a tiny, wicked vibrator.
Five seconds. She panted. Ten seconds. She panted faster. Fifteen sec— She climaxed a second time. The diamond launched into hyper-vibration drive, the harmony wobbled her eardrums, the melody so loud, Landau flinched.
He slid the rock lower, soaking the crystal with her wetness. He pressed the gemstone against her entrance; the humming diamond grew louder, vibrated rapidly against her swollen flesh.
Grimacing at the decibel level, Landau removed the stone from her body. “Proof,” Landau said, sounding strangled. When she focused on him, his eyes turned blood red and he looked turned-on, like her. “You’re a Jewel Master.”
